This place is a gem--very clean, well-stocked, and full of incredible treats. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll love their fridge section, packed with cakes, rolls, and other desserts. They also have a fantastic selection of traditional mooncakes, including Pandan, Red Bean, Sweet Potato, and Red Lotus Seed Paste. Wait till you see their wall of savory buns and rolls. Think hotdog buns, BBQ chicken, ham and cheese, bacon pork floss, and so much more--it's like a never-ending lineup of deliciousness. And the best part? Almost everything is under $5! Very important- here's a $10 minimum for credit card purchases or you can just pay cash! The staff is super friendly, and they're always happy to help if you're not sure what to try. My personal favorites? The cheesecake and the coffee cake roll--both are chef's kiss! Highly recommend stopping by when you're in Chinatown.

One of my go to bakeries in Chinatown! They consistently have great pastries, cakes, cookies, drinks, etc. Their cakes are beautifully decorated. I highly recommend their egg tarts and bbq pork buns, they're so fluffy and plentiful in filling. Workers are friendly and efficient

My wife and I discovered Corner Cafe & Bakery while in the area and noticed it had great reviews. Honestly, I had low expectations, as my previous experiences with Chinese bakeries hadn't been stellar in the Boston area. However, Corner Cafe & Bakery completely exceeded my expectations, the buns were delicious. Born and raised in NYC, I'd say this spot is just as good, if not better than some in the city (depending on what you get). I tried the steamed bun, pineapple bun, pineapple custard bun, egg tart (probably one of the best in the Boston area), and a Taiwanese bun (the name escapes me). While it's a bit pricey for what it is, I'd gladly pay a few extra dollars for quality baked goods instead of settling for mediocre pastries at a lower price.

Great buns and deserts to choose from! Great for snacks on the go! My boyfriend grabbed a whole variety of buns and enjoyed all of them. I got the Pandan moon cake. It had great texture and flavor.

They make a mean Portuguese egg tart here and the prices were like pre-2024 inflation levels (two tarts for around $3.60??), but the egg tart wasn't my absolute favorite in Boston. It was so jiggly that it fell apart before I could pick it up to take a bite. Definitely something to eat with a spoon. Notwithstanding the lack of structural integrity, the flavor was phenomenal and I really liked the buttery, flaky crust. They have a good variety of other Chinese pastries, including moon cakes of different fillings and buns. $10 credit minimum.

Exceptionally good moon cakes one of the best I've ever had. No comparison to the ones you get in the can from the grocery. If you've never had a fresh one from the bakery, you're missing out big time. The sesame paste is so good and they are not overly sweet you can really taste the sesame filling. Yum yum yum.

Cute bakery in downtown Boston's Chinatown district. The name of this spot is fitting because this Bakery is literally located at the corner of a relatively busy intersection entering Chinatown. We popped in on a Friday evening after grabbing a bite. There were sweet and savory options to choose from -- fresh baked breads, pastries, tarts, cakes, and a bunch of in betweens of what an Asian bakery has to offer. We spent $50 and walked out with a box of assorted treats, and some egg tarts to share. Cravings satisfied. Support local y'all!
